Emma Louise Jackson, also known as Peewee, was the eleventh of twelve children born to the union of the late Leslie and Carrie Williams on October 18, 1933. She was a native of Loxley, Alabama but moved to Houston, Texas in 1967. She gained her heavenly wings on December 30, 2024 surrounded by family. She leaves to cherish her memories one brother, James Williams (Shirley) of Loxley, Alabama, her five daughters, Jackie Wooten (Michael) of Channelview, Texas, Vivian Bethea of Houston, Texas, Janet Salter (Frank) of Loxley, Alabama, Anita Semien of Spring, Texas and Patricia Phillips of Houston, Texas. She also leaves to cherish her legacy, 16 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great grandchildren. The visitation for Emma will be held at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 1510 Pannell St., Houston, Texas 77020 on January 10, 2025 at 9:00am to 11:00 am with the Homegoing Services beginning immediately after at 11:00am. The Interment for Emma will take place immediately following the Homegoing Service at Paradise North Cemetery located at 10401 West Montgomery, Houston, Texas 77088.
