Deacon John C. Koontz, a native of Bryan, Texas, departed this life April 23, 2026. Deacon Koontz leaves to cherish his memory a host of loving family and friends. The Visitation for Deacon John Koontz will be held Saturday, May 2, 2026 at 9am, with the Funeral Service beginning promptly at 11am. Both the Visitation and Funeral Service will be held at White Rock Missionary Baptist Church, located at 8008 Darien Street. Deacon Koontz will be laid to rest eternally at Smetana Cemetery, Bryan, Texas.
