Rosalind Rene Porter was born to Gloria Hardin
and George Jackson on July 13, 1970 in Houston Texas. Rosalynn confessed to Christ and an early age she was an active member of Greater Shadow Baptist Church in Tyler, Texas. Not only did she give a great example of leadership within the congregation she was well known for her positive and spiritual leadership if you needed a smile she wasn't afraid to lend hers. She was preceded in death by her grandmother Willie Williams uncles Michael Clark and Jesse Fininen and god brother Rev. Wayne Wiliiams. She leaves to cherish her memory her mother Gloria Hardin; father, George and Barbara Jackson; children Jasmine Porter, Joshua Porter, Kendrick Jackson and NaJahiya Sanders; sisters, Georgiana Tryals, Mariesha Jackson and Latasha Jackson; brother, Larry Tryals; godmother, Cheryl Williams; god brother, Brodeick "Chubby" Williams, Raymond "Jarmal" Williams, Michael Lemons and Danny Verchera Jr.; God sisters, Shonda Jasper, Kizzy Whitaker and best friend/first cousin, Cheris Clark.

Services for Ms. Porter are as follows: Visitation Saturday April 25, 2015, 9am. Funeral 10am. at New Life in the Word Church 4521 Englewood St. Houston, Tx. 77026.
