Wanda Faye leaves to cherish her memory and celebrate her legacy, her husband, Freddie Louis "Baby Boy" Thompson of Houston, TX; four sons, Kevin Ledoux (LaShondreia) of Opelousas, LA, Jason Toussaint of Houston, TX, Kevin Ryan Thompson and Kyle Dwayne Thompson both of Trinidad and Tobago; eight brothers, David Toussaint, Joseph Toussaint, III (Delores), Kenneth Toussaint (Wanda), Harold Paul Toussaint (Geralyn), Henry Gerard Toussaint (Priscilla), Harold Lastrapes (Marie) all of Opelousas, LA, Bryan Toussaint of Carencro, LA and Patrick Toussaint (Zina) of Port Allen, LA; three sisters, Helen Crear (Bishop Joe Nathan) of Stafford, TX, Janice Harris and Charlotte Manuel (Gerard St. Julien) of Carencro, LA; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Beulah Carriere Toussaint; maternal grandparents, Joseph and Lila Smith Carriere; her mother-in-law, Nettie Mae Hardy Nevills; one brother, Timothy King; paternal grandparents, Florida and Helen Hunt; one nephew, Quintin Manuel; one aunt, Elvina Francis; two brothers-in-law, Chester R. Harris and Matthew Hardy; three sisters-in-law, Maude Hardy Warren, Mildred Hardy and Irma Toussaint.

The family requests visiting hours be observed on Saturday April 12, 2025, from 8:00 AM - 10:45 AM at First Benjamin Baptist Church, Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 11:00 AM at First Benjamin Baptist Church 4228 Highway 357 Opelousas, LA 70570.

Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Park. Rev. Gerald Toussaint will officiate the Celebration of Life.
