Mrs. Evelyn Bonton , 92, went home to be with the Lord on February 11, 2015. Services will be held at Grace United Methodist Church, 2020 Lockwood at Mulvey Streets, at 11:00am, on Friday, February 20th. A Wake Service will be held at Ross Mortuary, 3618 Lyons Avenue from 6:00 -8:00pm, on Thursday, February 19th. Interment at VA Memorial Cemetery. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Alex Basha and Raley Bonton; parents, six siblings, one child, Edward James Bonton. She leaves to cherish her memory eight living children: Mark Basha, Clifford Basha (Chong), Alexis Basha, Yvette Basha, Debra Cross (Al), Darrel Bonton, Kay Harrison , Marjoire Sutton (Freddie), sister-in-laws, Ruby Hendricks , Beverly Henderson, Naomi Day and a host of nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends.
